Since 1966, we have provided the Mount Forest area  with passenger and light truck, agricultural, commercial truck tires, lawn and garden, and industrial tires. 

It was Sept. 1^st, 1966, when Bill Leask originated Superior Tire at 258 Main St. South in Mount Forest, ON in a small 1 Bay location. As the business rapidly grew, it expanded into Wholesale & Automotive areas, when he and his wife Marjorie moved their then 3 locations into one, at 780 Waterloo St., their present location.

Superior Tire brought "On the Farm Service" to the Mount Forest Area. Previously a tractor tire would be taken off the tractor, loaded in a truck, and taken back to the tire or tractor dealer’s location to be fixed and then returned some days later and reinstalled. Superior Tire also provided 24hr. Emergency roadside service to commercial truckers. Then - almost ½ a century ago - as now, SERVICE has always been our key to success. As the old 710-15 became G78-15, and G78-15 bias ply passenger tires changed into steel belts and then into P215/75 R15 Radials, computers and technology radically changed almost every aspect of the day to day operations and products. However, the one constant need for which our customers always come back, is SERVICE.

Since 1966, we have provided the Mount Forest & surrounding area with passenger and light truck, agricultural, commercial truck, lawn, garden and industrial tires. In 1973 we introduced full mechanical service to become a "One Stop Auto Shop" to further serve our customers and make acquiring all their automotive needs as easy and pleasurable for them as possible, and to assure them that "Their Safety is our Business".

Recently our Son, Steve and our daughter, Krista have joined us to continue this same excellence of service to our wholesale division. We wholesale to garages, car dealerships, farm equipment dealers and commercial truckers.
