Tip of the Week
Question:
True or False?
Most traffic accidents occur during afternoon rush hour between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The really bad accidents—the fatal ones—occur during morning rush hour between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Answer:
False. More than twice as many fatal accidents occur between the hours of midnight and 2:00 a.m.
While a major contributor to these statistics may be driving after late night partying, night time vision also is a factor. Be sure all of your lights are working and that your headlight aim is properly adjusted. A driver blinded by your improperly focused headlights can add to the highway death toll.
